Le 1er décembre 2016 auront lieux les Games Award 2016, cette cérémonie désignera le Game Of The Years 2016 (jeu de l'année 2016) qui permettra ensuite au dit jeu d'être vendu sous ce label.
La remise des prix est tous les ans accompagnée de la dfiffusuion de trailers en avant première.
